About Lisa Brandon

Ms. Brandon is a past president of California Women Lawyers and a former member of the Continuing Education of the Bar (CEB) Family Law Advisory Committee. She has been selected as a Super Lawyer for many years, as recently as 2023 and she and her firm have received the highest possible peer review rating from Lexis Nexis/Martindale-Hubbell (AV Preeminent)** for many years as well.
After years of assisting numerous clients through the family law courts, Ms. Brandon knows a reasonable approach must be taken to resolve every matter as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. Efforts to negotiate with a spouse's attorney or to facilitate a mediation supervised by retired family law judicial officers must be pursued.
Absent such efforts, clients must understand cases left for resolution solely by the courts could take months or even years to be resolved.
While Ms. Brandon can be an aggressive litigator and is an insightful strategist, she will always counsel her clients as to the law(s) applicable to their specific circumstance; the likely cost and outcome of any contested hearing or trial; and, she will share the optimal solution with each client so to achieve their goals and ensure their better future.
Over the last several years, Ms. Brandon has also focused her practice on premarital and postnuptial agreements for clients located all throughout California. These agreements are tailored to the specific needs of her client and address as many future events as is possible.
Ms. Brandon is a member of the Los Angeles County, Long Beach, and Orange County Bar Associations.
